Moustakas or Middlebrooks?

Since Youk was traded, should I keep Middlebrooks? Or do you think he will start to struggle more in the second half?

While I don't think Middlebrooks is going to struggle, I will say Moose has more upside than Middlebrooks.

Keep in mind that Boston has a far superior lineup than KC, so even average stats from Middlebrooks (who will be hitting 5th/6th) will produce better counting stats than Moose. In a keeper I'd rather have Moose though.

Moose will out power him think of him as a young poor man's Mark Reynolds. (not quite as bad as BA or quite high number of ks but with the power). Think of Hank Blaylock in his prime years.

Yeah, Moose has the power advantage. But its tough to accumulate Runs and RBI if no one is on base and no one can knock you in once you are on base. Per each AB, Middlebrooks is the guy you want for every stat other than HR (RBI may be a wash). Assuming Middlebrooks stays healthy of course. And this is 2012 only.

If Middlebrooks is healthy I'd take him. Better team
I personally think he'll be top 10 3B rest of the way

This. For me, it's the lineup that gives Middlebrooks the edge.
