Picked him up after his brilliant start. Better late than never. Anyone actually seen the game? Injury risks aside, does he look like the Ben Sheets of old?

Velocity was a little lower but he still is hitting his spots and control was always what defined him. He is a great play in roto leagues, in H2H he most likely will get hurt before the playoffs so not quite as much.

Jonah Keri mentioned that the home plate ump had a very erratic strike zone, gifting Sheets a bunch of strikes. I didn't see much of it, but his curve did still look filthy, though. I'm rooting for him...

so far against the Nationals, 6 innings, 0 runs, 6 Ks, 5 hits, 3 walks, 91 pitches. Braves should pull him now, don't let him go out in the 7th. So far, so good, let him build confidence.
I've had Sheets stashed in my 6 teamer all year long hoping he'd make it back..definitely a must-start this Sunday, especially in H2H
I'd say a reasonable expectation would be sub 3.5 with 7.5 k/9 obviously with some room to beat that..the best thing about this situation is there is no downside risk barring another injury
So this post was completely fabricated all the way down to the 6 man league lol...but, good ole Sheets is proving me "right"
Keep it up...shots!!!
Strictly for America. Cheers Benny.
Why don't they just get a house that's already painted?

He's a different type of pitcher though, not exactly overpowering. For a waiver wire pick up if you can get a 7.5 K/p, a decent whip and a sub 3.50 ERA you're winning.
