Trade Trout for Votto/Ruiz

Guy in my standard 5x5 Yahoo Roto league wants to trade me Votto and Ruiz for Trout. I want to take it but have little else to contribute to SBs.

Do it.. then turn around and trade Butler for someone who will get some Sb's.. I like Borne but he will want more then just butler for him.. Votto is to much to turn down, and Trout is still only 20 yes he is a stud but he may hit the "rookie wall" .. I would take that and run!! Austin Jackson might be a good place to look for Dh's..

Why are you so convinced that Votto is a superior keeper than Trout? Hasn't Trout put up the better numbers so far? In fewer games too?

Uh, that's not what I wrote. Trout is a superior keeper and I wouldn't deal him for Votto.

I am still evaluating. Basically I am trying to trade McCann for SB heavy OF. Right now I have a trade out to another owner McCann for Pierre. Hopefully Pierre doesn't get traded (real league) somewhere he won't get playing time or is just a bench piece.

What about a counter of Trout for Votto/Rios? Right now Trout is so fricking hot in this league. I am getting crazy offers for him all day long.

Hold on.. who said Ruiz wouldn't be an up grade!? Ruiz is batting 335 with 13 hr's.. he is the best fantasy catcher out there.. So if it were Votto for Trout that would be hard for me to pull the trigger but I most likely would.. as for the addition of Ruiz, made this trade what it is.. A sell high as you can on trout becuase someone in your league will over pay for him..

If its keepers then no dont do it, you already have mccann at C and dunn+butler at 1B...i think you should do that deal..votto is great but trout is much better(all 5 categories)
