Greinke+ for Hanley+ (WHIR 100%)

Postby fish72292 » Sat Jul 07, 2012 2:12 pm

Hey guys... kid in my league said he would do my Hanley for his Greinke but he has Andrus and shortstop and would want to put him in the deal too for one of my starters. I was thinking of offering Hanley and Shields for Greinke and Andrus... Fair? I could use an ace like Greinke. Or is there another starting pither I should offer. As always I will help in return, Leave your link please.

Hanley and Shields for Greinke and Andrus sounds like a good trade to me. I'd take Greinke over Shields any day of the week. However, I'd rather have Hanley than Andrus. All in all, I think this trade would benefit your team.

Seems like a fair deal, but it could leave you begging for more HR's out of your lineup. Its not like Hanley is bombing them everyday, but you'll be missing those HR's without him. Flip a coin on this one.

I have to say this trade does look very even.

I agree that it is tough to give up a talent like HanRam...but at least so far Greinke has been far better than Shields and you need the SP help.

Food for thought....everything I read about Shields is that he has far outperformed his numbers and a lot of people think he could have a serious improvement in the 2nd half...but then you have to believe what "they" say...lol

Thanks for the help on mine ;-D

I have also read that too... but look at Shields stats from 2010 the were absolutely terrible... his trends are leading towards that more then his 2011 stats

I like this deal for you. Greinke is a stud and I think you have enough pop in your lineup to handle losing HanRam.

Like everyone else is saying, this seems like a very fair trade. I like your side of the deal especially considering HanRam's keeper position will be 3B.

Help with mine?

Well, if you make this trade you keep:
Posey, Pujols, Pedroia, Andrus, Jones, Upton, Holliday, and either Rizzo or a SP (who would be Greinke).

If not, you keep the same only HanRam instead of Andrus and Rizzo instead of the SP.

I'd make the deal.

Yeah I agree... this kid looks at Hanley as a shortstop thats why he is wanting to trade andrus. Although hanley is going to be a strictly a third basemen next year which brings down his value a bit. Thanks for the responses.
