Keeper Trade - Hanley for Tulo... right now?

I'm currently in 5th in a 16-team H2H keeper league (6 keepers). So I'm clearly in contention right now, but I can't help but look forward to next season already... and what I see is that I will be losing one of the few top-end SS in the game when Hanley Ramirez loses his eligibility.

I've been looking at a Hanley/Tulo swap since early on this season, but with Tulo's owner falling out of contention earlier than expected the window may be closing earlier on an opportunity to make that swap as his focus starts to move to 2013.

The question now is - is now he time for me to make the move on this SS swap (as part of a larger package deal), or is it too risky for me right now being in contention since there's no really saying when Tulo will return?

Available SS to fill in for the meantime would be the likes of Yunieksy Bettencourt, Elliot Johnson, Ryan Theriot, Willie Bloomquist....

Tulo's not due back until August, so assuming mid-August, that means 5 weeks with a WW SS and 6 weeks with Tulo and that assumes Tulo plays like himself and not poorly.

Long-term you're better off if you think Tulo will stay healthy over Ramirez at 3B when you already have Lawrie.

The other possibility (not sure if this works) is picking up his sub for Tulo in the same package since he won't be needed. Whoever it is has to be better than Betancourt, et al. That way you get a decent plug-in for the 5 weeks.

This is a fantastic move for next year but with those replacements, it's not a move a 5th place team usually makes. I think you'd probably take yourself out of contention, so I guess it's up to you to decide if you have a chance in the first place or if you still had a shot for the outside money if it is a money league.

This is a good option as well if they have a backup SS.
