Drop K. Johnson for Amarista

Postby clarkdp2 » Fri Jul 06, 2012 2:52 pm

Kelly Johnson has really fallen off as of late and now that he has been dropped in the batting order he is not getting as many runs as he used too. Should I drop him for Amarista?

What are people thoughts on K. Johnson the ROS. I know he will provide some HR and SB but his AVG and K's are killing me at the moment and I'm wondering if Amarista is the real deal.

I have both on my team right now--if you have room I recommend holding on to both. Amarista has never shown power at any level but if he's suddenly found it, great. That said, Johnson is as streaky as they get. When he's good, he's really good. When he's bad, he's really bad. I guess that wasn't helpful, but when it comes to middle infielders, it's nice to depth in fantasy.

Help with mine?

Amarista has never shown this type of power before. He's a spark plug for sure, but I would rather have KJ.

This. Don't trust a player that has shown no power in his past and then explodes. It won't last.
