This is a 12 team, h2h roto league with the following offensive categories:
Runs, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, OPS
Who is the better catcher for the rest of the season, Jarrod Salty or Salvador Perez? I currently own Salty, but his average is killing me. I think he'll put up more power numbers rest of season, but is it enough of a difference to punt batting average and OPS? I'm currently in 2nd place. What do you guys think?
Leave link and I'll answer yours.

We only have a small sample of Perez so far this year, but he's been hot to start and Salty has been up and down all year as I'm sure you know more than others. If you're hurting for power, I'd say you probably have to ride it out and hope Salty can improve even a bit. But being in 2nd and having what I'm assuming is a solid team and not a lucky one, I'd take the risk and go with Perez. He should be able to keep your team toward the top of the league.

I guess that depends on which category you need the most. Perez is a high avg. guy (check his minor league #'s) who doesn't K a lot *historically*
Salty has pop which will could help your power categories, but he won't hit for the avg Perez does.
I personally picked up Perez as my starting C for the 2nd Half. Good luck.
