Deep, season-long points league - I'm currently clinging to a very small lead and injuries are hitting me hard.
I offer:
3B Lawrie
SP N. Feliz
I receieve:
SS/3B Lowrie
SP Lester
Thoughts: I love Lawrie and was planning on keeping him...but...I'm "all in" to win this year and so far, Lowrie's only about 13 points behind Lawrie. And Lester's a huge upgrade over Feliz - IMO. I'm leaning towards pulling the trigger here.
Additional thoughts: I've got Jesus Montero as my C (might be heading to the minors?!). I also have Ervin Santana (maybe in danger of losing his spot in the rotation?!). Would you consider adding a 3rd part to the deal: my E. Santana for his Wilin Rosario?
THANKS!

Lester has been inconsistent all year. Depends if you want 90 innings of 3.50-4.00 ERA from him (with a chance his team falls out of the race) or 60 innings of 3-something from Feliz whose team will be in contention all season.
And I believe in Lowrie's skills, just not his health.

If the Rosario piece can be added I'd go for it. Looks like a decent deal for you and addresses some needs. I'd make sure you have a backup plan for Lowrie though if he starts to fizzle out.

Thanks for looking at mine.
I think you have thought this out very well. I like the idea of adding the 3rd piece to this deal because you do have some additional problems on the horizon for your team. If Jed can stay healthy, he won't wow you with stats, but is very consistent, and Lester is an ace who just has to get more consistent.

Thanks for the help.
What is the latest news about Feliz? Will he be back after the break? If it looks like he'll return, I probably wouldn't do this trade because Lester has been inconsistent and Lowrie has been playing over his head all season. If his return is speculative, I would make the trade with the Rosario piece.
