Dee Gordon's thumb operation went as expected. He will miss six weeks.
Soo...Tyler Colvin has hit 2 HRs today already, has moved up to 5th in the Rockies lineup and has 13 HRs in under 180 ABs.
What's the scoop on this guy? Only 26, 37 HRs in a career 757 ABs, definitely not a batting average guy with a .235 career BA, but he's just been raking lately. I'm sure a lot of it may have to be Coors Field but still, he's looking like a pretty good fantasy value right now.

Today's aren't at Coors. He's got a .353 BABIP right now, which should stabilize and bring him back to batting .250 or so -- tough to do much more when you K in a quarter of your at bats. I think it's going to be tough for him to stay in the lineup every day with Gonzo/Fowler/Cuddyer -- he's been seeing more time lately, and if you've got a roster spot for him, snag him. I'm not expecting much, though, nor do I think the Rox were when got him for Ian Stewart.

Johan's getting torn a new sphincter as I type this. His line: 4.2 innings, 13 hits, 7 earnies, 2.786 WHIP, 6 K's.
