I get Dustin Pedroia and Nelson Cruz.

I think the Pedrioa owner is worried about the thumb and trying to unload him. I am really hesitant to give up Cano, but is this enough to make it worth it? If i was confident in Pedroia's health, this would be a no-brainer for me. I'm not confident in Pedroia's health...

I think its a pretty good deal for you depending on who you have to drop to add Cruz. Who would you drop?

I agree with your analysis... Pedroia's lingering thumb issues are cause for concern. Given that alone, I think you should keep Cano... you can't replace that production from a 2B. It's a tough one to pass up though, because like you said it's a no-brainer if you know Pedroia will be playing without injury.

Pedroia has been off this season since the thumb injury and hearing him talk about it recently he doesn't seem too confident in his health. So if he isn't confident in his health then you shouldn't be either. I'd sit tight.
