Young was one of the hottest hitters at the start of the year as he was hitting .410 with 5 HRs 13 RBIs in 11 games in April. Since returning he has dropped his average to .206 and it seems like his only hits recently are HRs. In the last week he has 3 hits and they are all HRs but he is hitting .125 (3/24).

Is he well past the point of being ownable (ala Rickie Weeks) or someone worth hanging on to for his potential? If he hits for any type of average we know the power is still there which is why he is still buried on a few benches.

What would you do with him?

The 20/20 potential for someone who could hit .230 is still useful, and if he ever does get hot and raise his AVG above .250 he could be downright studly. I would keep him on the bench of a 12 team mixed, but in a 10 team mixed I'd probably dump him and let him be someone else's bag of magic beans.

I have him in both my leagues, and I'm stashing him in both. There's too much potential there to completely cut ties.
