Is this trade a good move for me? As always, WHIR

Okay, this was sent to me today and I think I should do this trade. I am currently in 1st place, but my lowest category is stolen bases.
This is an 8 team, 10x9 league
Our scoring categories are :
2b, 3b, hr, rbi, bb, k's, avg., errors, r's, sb
W, L, CG, Shutouts, SV, ERA, WHIP, K's, Hr allowed

I trade Tim Lincecum and Adam Jones for soon to be off the DL Jacoby Ellsbury. I would then have an open roster spot open to pick up someone from this group: Josh Willingham, Colby Rasmus, Paul Goldschmidt, Ian Desmond, Jason Kubel, Desmond Jennings, KEvin Youkilis, Alex Gorden, Michael Morse......you get the idea, there are players to be had. Could pick up another SP as well but not quite as good a talent pool, but dempster and a few others are available as well.

I love this deal for you! I think Jones has great value going forward, but I really think he peaked. Lincy is a lost cause to me, so this is a tremendous deal in my mind (assuming Jacoby comes back healthy, of course).

I would prefer Ellsbury over Jones and an open roster spot over Tiny Tim. Win-Win. Do it!

I'm always weary of a 2-for-1 for a player who has been on the DL as long as Ellsbury, but Lincecum is showing few signs of coming around and Jones is cooling off significantly. Plus the WW names are very good caliber players.

Given that, I'd give it a go and make the deal for Ellsbury.

Agree with the input here AS LONG AS Ellsbury is healthy. I think he hit a bomb just yesterday which is very promising.

Jones has 20 bombs so either he's figured it out and going for a monster season, or he'll plateau/fall off in the 2nd Half.

Arms are abundant this year, losing the arm formerly known as the freak doesn't scare me at all.

You have huge upside in this deal. Gamble is Ellsbury's health. I'd lean towards taking it assuming those risks.

The fact that you have so much WW depth makes it a no-brainer. While I'm not sure if we'll see the ellsbury from last year, Adam Jones is still overrated IMO and I'd rather have Jacoby. Lincecum looks lost for this year, so it actually helps you get rid of him.

Damn, I wish I had a WW like your leagues lol. With that said, I'd make the deal and add Jennings. If Ellsbury comes back healthy, they will both swipe bases for you like crazy.
