I was all pumped up watching Bauer strike out the side, but then he starts walking guys.... and then.... well.... 7 runs. I know Gibson said that he plans on having Bauer stay in the rotation all season, but will that change after this outing? I'd hate to have Bauer who i've been stashing for months sit on by bench as a minor leaguer again.

If he can't figure things out and start locating his breaking ball, yeah, he's toast. They're not going to let him get hammered all year in the bigs and destroy his confidence.
The book is out on this guy already: Lay off the curve, unless he's throwing it for strikes, and wait for a fastball you can drive. Going to be tough going for a while, I suspect.

Look, this guy is just getting his feet wet, he needs some time and you have invested time, so I would hold on for a bit longer. He has elite talent, but with any rookie, it may take a little time to figure out the big leagues.
help me please?
