Hey guys I know I keep posting on here but I need a bit of help to land a top tier starter. I want to land Halladay before he returns because I think he would be a huge game changer for me when he comes back in about 3 weeks. My team and his team is posted below... give me some ideas of trades that will help his needs and help me land Halladay... Looking to give up Haren, Holliday, and pretty much anyone besdies my younger guys... I think Halladay is gonna have a great rest of the year coming off this injury that was nagging him since spring training. Please help and I will help you in return. Thanks!

Start the talks at Kennedy/Wainwright and Holliday for Halladay. (Depending on the person's "love" for Halladay, it might be enough and it might not be - I'm a die hard Phils fan and it would take A LOT to pry Halladay away from me, just sayin haha). And then see where talks go from there, he might want some players that you're willing to give up. But the starting point is always the hardest, and you don't wanna under-offer cuz then he could say forget it. But I think that would be a somewhat-fair starting point (might have to plug in Haren instead of Kennedy or Wainwright).
I think he could use the outfield help well outfield RBI help with Holliday... so i was thinking Holliday and maybe Haren or Holliday and Shileds... depending I know I talked to him before the injury and he said he is opposed to trading Halladay which means if I can talk him into it Holliday and someone else could be enough... thanks.
Offer up Haren or Shields and see what he says. Really depends on how much he values Halladay. If he sees him like you do then it might be pretty expensive.

Looking at your rosters, I'm thinking you're going to have to package one of your top OF's for Roy. I don't really see any other weakness in his roster that you can target. One of either Upton/Jones/Holliday would probably be what I'd accept for Roy. However, it would be tough for me to do so.
The other option is to focus on a pitcher with less name recognition that is healthy. I agree, you need pitching help, but don't focus solely on Roy.
Thats true it might be pretty expensive... thats my only thing thats why I am asking for all the help I can get on here because I do not wanna over pay for him at all... but if I can get him at a fair price trade I think hell take my team to first place because I could use a REAL ace on my team for the second half. Thanks
Yeah, see if he'll take a healthy, good pitcher for Halladay. Maybe he doesn't want to wait the three weeks for him to come back and he bites. See if Shields or Haren gets it done. If not, you could try BigAnT's suggestion of packaging Kennedy or Wainwright + Holliday for him.
Good advice guys... I was thinking along the same lines. Leave your links if you need any help and I will help with them later. Much appreciated everyone.
Since you probably won't roster Rizzo this year, and he is unlikely to be one of your 8 keepers, you might try and leverage the hype and trade him for an effective top 20 pitcher.
