Upgrading help. (WHIR)

Hey guys I was wondering what you guys thought of my team. Any places I have holes I want to trade for a few younger players. Anyone to target and who would I give up to get them? I was thinking I could use haren and someone else to get someone like a pitcher that I really want . There are a few guys on the WW that I really want and are listed below. So I think a two for one would be the best way to go. Or 3 for 2. Plus I really need to free up a spot for crawford when he returns... I know i know terrible year last year but maybe its cause I am a red sox fan but I have faith in him swiping 20 bags and hitting 10 hrs the rest of the way. Oh yeah I may be trying to land Cliff Lee, Cj WIlson, or Gio Gonzalez with my Matt Holliday and David Freese. Or who should I offer in a two for one for one of those three. Thanks!

Are Cashner or Morales on FA by any chance?

Out of the guys you listed, I like Davis and Belt. Davis has shown some signs of coming out of his funk and Belt hits in one of the most potent offenses in baseball with lots of opportunities for RBIs.

Actually yes Cashner and Morales are available in my league. Anyone from my team who you would cut for them or ike or belt? But I could use the speed with Maybin and Revere. My team is posted above and it is all current and I have no open spot as of right now. Kind of trying to go two for one on a trade though for when Holland and Crawford come back.

I would stay put with Bats. Your offense is great. Your big weakness is arms. Other than Wainwright I think every single one of your SP has performed below, or WAY below average. I would add Cashner right away. Could you drop Carl Crawford and add an arm? I say this because who knows if he plays everyday and he isn't the same player he was in TB anyway.
I think I would drop Haren or Gallardo if you need to drop a pitcher for Cashner.

I think I could trade Haren and Gallrdo before I dropped them for Cashner. Cashner just throws too many balls and has start once (besides that two and a third performance before he went down to build his arm strength up). And no I can not drop Crawford for a pitcher because he is on my DL and is not taking up a roster spot right now. I agree my pitchers are weak... every single one of them is under performing and it is driving me crazy and I am not sure what I should or could do to upgrade them... Can't really drop any of them because they all have too much potential for huge second halves.

You have a similar problem to mine...that is, lots of good free agents that you'd love to have, but no room for them on your roster. I agree that you need to upgrade your pitching staff, but I would not drop anyone for Cashner. If I had your team, I believe that I would try to package a couple of your pitchers for an upgrade, if possible. The problem with that, of course, is that you're probably selling low on your guys. I have Gallardo, too, and although he's underperformed his averages, it's not like he's horrible. I think there's a good chance he'll at least pitch up to norms the rest of the way. But you won't get that price for him, you'll get a price based on his performance so far this season.

If anything, maybe you could package Gallardo and Latos and get someone like Weaver. If the Weaver owner needs depth and maybe is feeling desperate, that might work. If you get an acceptable two-for-one, then rush out and grab Cashner.

Regardless of how you approach it, SP needs to be the area you work to improve...

See right about now I feel like I could get way better stats with streaming his roster spot... But I do not think I can do that but I wish I could haha I rather try and package him to a guy who trades for the name.

I wold package Rizzo with someone for an upgrade. Target the teams lower in the standings they will be more inclined to deal for a young prospect
