Don't look now, but dee Gordon is becoming the fantasy baseball stud we'd hoped he be. Getting on base enough to to have the opportunity to run and running every chance he gets. Just stole #26. That number is a bit more eye popping when you consider the fact that he was almost non-existent in may.

Even if he steals 50 bases it's tough to stomach .225. It's good to see the BBs coming, but he needs to cut down on the Ks and help get his BABIP up to where it should be for a guy with that speed.

True, .225 hurts, but it's not tough to overlook win he pretty much wins a cat for you every week by himself.
Also, if he can avoid another disastrous month like May, we might be looking at 60-70 steals.

Yeah I don't really understand lastings post. he's stealing a lot but he managed a whopping .564 OPS. he's not even walking a lot. At some point it's going to get difficult for the dodgers to run him out there everyday but there probably isn't another option.

H2H is one thing with AVG resetting every week, but a complete and total 1 category guy like that can be killer in Roto, where his AVG is a destroyer, and he isn't producing in any other category at all.

I feel like Peralta's been considerably less valuable than the rest of the guys mentioned here. Thing with him is he has a longer track record of success than most of them, so maybe a turnaround is eminent? He's got a pretty normal, stable BABIP, K Rate, and is walking at the highest clip of his career -- he's just not hitting. His LD% is way up, but it's just not happening for him. Interested in hearing other thoughts on him, but right now I'd have him below all of the above mentioned guys here (except maybe Alexei).
It'd be really useful to have data for the speed off the bat for each hit. It's good to see contact rates, and line drive rates, and plate discipline. But it's a completely other thing to be able to tell if a guy is hitting the ball hard. Is that sort of thing available yet? I know ESPN releases data on homeruns but all other hits seem to be omitted. That would make it a lot easier to see if guys like Peralta were actually hitting as well as usual and being unlucky, or if they're choking up and just making weak contact.
