Cliff Lee...What to do...What to do

Postby Canadian » Fri Jun 29, 2012 10:05 pm

Not just posting this because of his start tonight....Just dont get alot of time to log on sadly.

At one point I had a great staff 14 team league Lee, C.C, Halladay, Colby Lewis, Holland, Gio Gonzalez and Bum...I made moves to get Halladay, Gio and Bum...then moved C.C to kinda correct the offense and pitching...but most of them are hurt now.

I want to move Lee bad...i dont see him improving ( most nights its the team)...

Has anyone moved him? or kept him? Im trying to get Trout and Aviles for Lee and Alexi Ramirez...but im willing to switch Jeter for Ramirez to get this done....

Im i going to crazy or whats going on here?

my season: Kemp, Halladay, Bono, Berkman, Lewis, and Holland DL!

I'm personally trying to buy. He's too good for this to last and his xFIP is still sub-3.

I just traded for him 2 starts ago. Patiently waiting for him to return to his norm.

A guy in my league just made this trade FWIW:

Team A: Cliff Lee, Matt Moore, Kevin Youkilis

Team B: Ryan Zimmerman, Matt Holliday, Jerome Williams

problem is every league is different. Every GM is different. can't judge trades by what others have done.

That's why I added the FWIW disclaimer. My league is pretty competitive and not many trades have happened in its 5 year existence. The ex-Lee owner is a die-hard, goes to 30 Phillies games a year type fan. Just trying to give a sense of what he's worth.
