I would not do either of those trades, I think Santana should get more value than that. Unless you think he is going to get hurt soon, then you might as well try and get something back for him. For some reason I have the feeling he is going to stay healthy this year, he has been looking really strong. I was offered Johnny Cueto for Santana and I turned it down cause I felt like Santana was going to have a good year, week later, he threw his no-hitter, but that is getting off topic. But I think you should be able to get more for Santana than what is being offered.

What sucks about my league is that these guys don't value Santana that high regardless the numbers. They are scared because of age and injuries.

Well, then just keep him and reap the benefits.
I am in the same situation with Uggla - everyone wants him before he gets hot and starts to hit HRs but no one wants to give me anything for him. So, I'll patiently wait and keep him on my bench in the meantime.
