That's tough ... I don't know if I am a big enough believer in Garza and that lousy offense behind him to see him as a big enough jump from Oswalt who if nothing else should get wins. Adam Jones seems very legit and Adrian's shoulder musn't be all well to have this little power to show for nearly half a season. It's not awful, but I'd try to get a better hitter or better pitcher in the deal if you can.

I do recognize Adrian is hitting well now and has some nice hitting to do the rest of the way to come into his career norms... so that is something to consider.

Yeah thats kind of my dilemma, Gonzalez is normally a better option, but Jones is good too...Would you make a difference if I got Johan Santana from him and gave him Worley or Cahill instead of Oswalt?

I'd rather have Gonzalez (who I think should get a lot better) and Garza (good K source, could be moved to contender, AL tested).

I'm skeptical about Oswalt's chances in Texas. I'd rather have Worley and Santana.

I still think Gonzalez is going to wake up... his hitting has definitely improved over the past three weeks. I'd stand pat.
