Trading an ace for two bats

I have Verlander (can't be kept) and another manager is willing to swap two batters for him. Without worrying about my pitching situation, are there any two batters from this list you would think is an even swap for Verlander?

Edwin Encarnacion has been raking; but he is outperforming his past. Any deal has to include him and for keeper purposes I like Cespedes or Ike Davis; but they may not assist at a very high level this year.

Hmmm...really wish Heyward was an option to keep...big Heyward guy.

For this season (and potentially as a keeper) EE is probably a guy you'd have to include. Then, maybe Cespedes based on keepable upside.

A lot, for me, would depend on if I'm in the hunt for a title this year or purely looking ahead...position needs...and so on.

Heyward's an option if you need OF help and are looking to win this year. Otherwise, I'll go EE and Cespy.

For a guy like Verlander though...I wonder if there might be bigger package available to you?

Honestly, none of those guys really excite me enough to deal Verlander. I'd see if someone is willing to part with a real stud and a solid second oplayer for him,.

Yeah...I am definitely going to agree with Sig on this...I think that you can easily get a stud hitter whom you can keep for Verlander...Especially to a team trying to win it all this season. I think if you can land someone else who holds more value it would be worth it, whereas the current pool of hitters also does not excite me much.

If you were to make a trade maybe target Uggla - if you are weak at 2B. Who do you currently have at 2B?

Thanks guys. I might try for a bigger deal.

Just to answer, I have Kelly Johnson at 2B. Uggla is an upgrade, but with batter K's counting and batting average as a stat, I'm not sure I would want to take him on at this point.

None of those guys would be enough for me to trade Verlander in a keeper league.
