I think it should be noted that Ryan Zimmerman is hitting at Coors.

And Cashner led off SD's half-inning, so he's gonna stay in for now.

Carlos Lee with a solid single with one out in the 7th, so there goes the NH. Still impressive stuff from Cashner; I'd grab him wherever available.

The guy that owns him in my dynasty league turned down Cano for his Trout. Depending on how in love his owner is, you may not be able to give up any single player to get him.

Realistically though, I'd say that in most keepers, he currently holds late 1st to early 2nd round value.

Trout is a 20 yr old, who is gonna be a first rounder for the next 10+ yrs.

I offered the Trout owner in my league JUpton or Adam Jones and Zobrist or Phillips and he politely declined. (Keeper league) The guy is starting Scutaro as his 2B and K.Johnson as his MI

In one of my keeper leagues we keep 4 players.
I offered Kinsler and Greinke for his Trout.
His starting 2B is Elliot Johnson... he said "hell no".

Trading for Trout in a keeper is impossible

maybe it should be added what place in the current standings is the Trout owner. Trout is a player who could be an early 1st round draft pick for many years to come. top tier superstar capable of helping in all 5 offensive categories. that's pretty special. if I wasn't contending this season I can't see any way I would trade Trout. even if I was contending this season I have to be pretty blown away to give up someone like Trout and what he's going to do in the future.

I think trading for Trout right now is nearly impossible in most formats as you are trying to buy at a high point. I think he is an elite player and will continue to be a top fantasy player for years to come but if he continues at this pace he will be the MVP. Everyone slumps at some point so I'd recommend patience for those trying to get Trout and maybe at some point later this summer you'll be able to get a Trout owner to give him up when he comes back to earth.

welcome to first place SF!

another dominant start for Bumgarner, a complete game, 1 hit shutout with 8Ks.
Thats now 4 consecutive shutouts for the Giants by the way.

Everyone marvels at Strasburg's K-rate and how talented he is. And yes, Strasburg is very impressive.

But Bumgarner is over a year younger, has won a World Series (having a practically performance in the World Series btw), and hasn't missed a start since starting his major league career. This dude doesn't get enough credit.

There is no doubt how spectacular Strasburg is, but Bumgarner will eat up those innings with his quality stuff.

Now that's just not fair. Because I, for one, was surprised. Completely and utterly surprised that at no point during the post was there a mention of Buster Posey or Brandon Belt. I don't know if that's more shocking, than the obligatory Giants fanboy post was less shocking. Either way, here's how the general series went...
