12 team 5x5 roto redraft
I get: Desmond Jennings and Elvis Andrus
I give: Matt Holliday and Derek Jeter
I'm currently dead last in SB's and about middle of the pack in all the other offensive categories. I just got offered this deal last night and am wondering what the Cafe's thinking is. I could definitely use a boost from both Jennings and Andrus as I know they'll produce runs and stolen bases. I am just afraid I may lose too much in the HR and RBI departments. What say you?
Oh and my other option was to just punt SB's all together since I'm already in last place and drop Pierre and Campana and just pick up some hot bats instead.
My team:
C- Matt Wieters
1B - Joey Votto
2B- Howie Kendrick
3B- Pablo Sandoval
SS- Derek Jeter
OF- Allen Craig
OF- Matt Holliday
OF- Hunter Pence
UT- Dexter Fowler
UT- Tony Campana
Bn- Rickie Weeks
Bn- Juan Pierre
DL- Jacoby Ellsbury
SP- Jon Lester
SP- Matt Garza
RP- Joel Hanrahan
RP- Bobby Parnell
P- Ernesto Frieri
P- Casey Janssen
P- Ryan Cook
Bn- Jake Peavy
Bn- Anibal Sanchez
Bn - Hiroki Kuroda
DL- Frank Francisco

Looks like a decent trade to me. I would take Andrus over Jeter everytime. Losing Holliday for Jennings is a little painful, you need the SB though, so not a bad trade at all.
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!

I like it ONLY because you have Ellsbury coming back soon. Jennings has to get over his injury 1st before he starts producing more SBs.
Help?

I think I am gonna pull the trigger on this one. Holliday has been on a tear lately but I just don't think Jeter will keep this pace up all year.
