Do I avoid taking Howard because of his injuries? Any more thoughts will be appreciated.

Now he has offered more.
The new trade is Rios, Reddick & Howard for Kinsler and Santos

I'd rather have Kinsler. He's too valuable at 2B. You don't know what you're getting with Howard, other than an injury risk, but it probably won't be above-average 1B production. Rios is nothing special, and Reddick is playing over his head.
Keep the sure thing in Kinsler. A leadoff hitter for the Rangers is solid fantasy gold.
Santos won't get his job back, so if you can offload him, more power to you.

I agree. Keep Kinsler. Howard has already said himself that he won't be 100% this year. He is also a swing and miss guy so the chances of him struggling are higher. He could provide some power but his BA will probably be really low this year.
PLEASE HELP

No way. Kinsler is a stud. 30-30 hitting leadoff for the Rangers? You should be getting much better than an injured Howard and that 4th OF bum Rios. I would trade Zobrist for that package, but there's no way he would take that if he wanted Kinsler for it.
Oh, and Santos will get his job back if his rehab goes well. Don't give him away for nothing. One or two months of saves still has value
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!
