Dynasty League Team Improvements

Postby Adelais » Wed Jun 27, 2012 5:54 pm

Hey everyone. I'm in a 12-team H2H Dynasty league (although this year we're only keeping 12, since it had to be autodraft...) and was wondering how I could improve. First off, I'm trying to deal Kinsler. Should I go for a SP or a different hitter? Anyway, yeah, how could I improve this team. Thanks!

C: Posey
1B: Votto
2B: Kinsler
SS: Furcal
3B: Johnson
OF: Trout
OF: Willingham
OF: Hart
Util: Kubel
Util: Altuve
BN: Scutaro
BN: Swisher
BN: Machado

SP: Bumgarner
SP: C.J. Wilson
RP: Hanrahan
RP: Papelbon
P: Nathan
P: Capuano
P: Billingsley
P: Oswalt
BN: Beckett (DL)
BN: Zimmermann
BN: Shelby Miller (I'm a big Cards fan)
DL: Feliz
DL: Dempster

Suggestions?

I'm assuming that you're in rebuild mode. If that's the case I would look into dealing guys like Willingham, Hart, Furcal, Scutaro & Swisher. You could dangle Kinsler, but I personally wouldn't be in a huge rush to move him.

Should I be looking to acquire younger hitting or pitchers?

I'd be looking at young bats first. Pitchers are so fickle and injury prone these days. Build with your line-up first, rotation second...IMO.

I'm with the previous poster that you should be looking to move the vets like a Willingham and such. I'd target a nice young SS and use you're vets to make it work. Find a team that's looking to win now that has a little depth there. Another 3B wouldn't hurt either but, I still think Zim is going to be a really good option over the next few years.

(thanks for the help on mine!)
