Trade Miggy? WHIR

Postby mzkp54 » Tue Jun 26, 2012 4:56 pm

Was offered Pedroia/Dunn/RZimmerman for my Miguel Cabrera. I kind of like it, but think I might ask for something instead of Zimmerman. I was thinking of countering with one of Choo, Hosmer, or Cespedes instead of Zimm. Here are our rosters. But I'm going back and forth because Dunn has a crazy amount of K's, and I'm already strong in HR. Please help!

12 team 6X6 H2H
R, RBI, HR, SB, OBP, K
ERA, WHIP, K, SV, HLD, QS

My team:
C- Wieters
1B- M Cabrera
2B- Kendrick
3B- A-rod
SS- Plouffe
OF- Granderson, JUpton, Harper
U- Hart, Pena
B- Viciedo

SP- Bumgarner, Haren, Wainwright, Cueto, Burnett, Oswalt, Harrison, Latos
RP- Perez, Rodney, Marmol, K-rod, Lindblom, Burton.

His team:
C- Mauer
1B- A-Gonz
2B- Pedroia
3B- Zimmerman
SS- Hanley
OF- Craig, Beltran, Choo
U- Dunn, AGordon
B- Hosmer, Cespedes, Morales
DL- Crawford, Utley

SP- Parker, Bedard
RP- Jansen, Reed, Wilhelmsen, Strop, Capps, Hensley, Miller, Choate, Qualls

Even though I dont think Zimmerman is droppable purely based off his potential.

I wouldn't do that deal if I were you.

Maybe if he'd throw in someone else other than Zimmerman.

I'd try and get Pedroia, Hanley, and Choo

This seems like a desperation move for the other owner. He is trying to ship out 3 of his question marks for 1 of your studs, which doesn't make much sense for you. He's sweating right now because A) Dunn hasn't gotten a hit in like 6 games, B) Pedroia has a torn muscle in his hand, and C) Zimmerman has openly admitted that he's playing injured. Save yourself the hassle and keep your team the way it is.
