Team A gets Quentin and Zimmerman

Team B gets Shields

Well without knowing any of the league parameters or the needs of teams A & B, it's difficult to say who "wins" in this deal. Justbased on its surface though, I'd take James Shields with his improving K:B ratio over a Quentin who is going to regress and a Zimmerman who has been in a season long slump. I'm not a Quentin fan, but I do think that Zimmerman could rebound in the 2nd half. Zim has shown some signs that he might be ready to finally turn things around this year. There is no guarentee on that though, and given my thoughts on Quentin, I'd say that the team that gets Shields is winning here.

Oh well which one is it? lol. I was thinking Zimmerman 3B and this lat poster thinks Zimmerman SP, lol. I guess it makes more sense that its Zimmerman SP, so my fault there...but that's the problem with vague posts that don't have any pertinent infomation...or simple information like if there are two players in MLB that have the same last name then you distinguish which one you are talking about by using the first intial of the first name...but I digress. Either way, no matter whichZimmerman it is I still take Shields. lol

This is a tough call because I have no idea what the team's needs are, keeper league, etc. I would take Sheilds for my team, but just because I have a stacked offense... If you have a thin offense, and some room for your avg to take a hit, go with CQ and Zimmerman... but I'd personally go with Shields.

Oh sheesh.... I thought it was Zimmerman the hitter.... and in that case, I would totally go with the CQ-Zimmerman deal

I guess it would depend on needs. If you NEED Quentin then giving up Shields for him and Zimmermann (2 N's!) is an ok move. I don't have Jordan that far away from Shields. James Shields is a much safer pick however. I love JZ, but I am not crazy about Quentin. Completely based off of needs though.
