I agree with you, I don't like Bailey or Chen's starts either. I'd also throw Zito into that category with his recent struggles. I don't like him against CIncy eben though he'll get them at home. might as well throw Diamond in this bad mix as well. Even though he pitched better in his last outing, the regression has definitely arrived and I don't like him against a Royals team that hasbeen heating up lately.
Marquis is a decent option this week. He's had 2 good outings in a row and has increased his K:BB ratio in those recent matchups. I like that he gets the start against the Astros, but I hate the fact that the start is coming at Minute Maid instead of at Petco. Surprisingly, I also like Travis Wood against the Astros on Sunday, Wood has also put 2 good starts together...one at the new "launching pad" Cellular Field and the next start against what was a hot hitting Mets team at home. So Wood is my second best choice this week. Hochevar is my choice for this week though. He has been excellent in his last 2 starts. Hoch has had dominating type stuff in those performances. I actually watched his performance against the Rays last night and he was mmissing alot of bats. His great CG last night came after he dominated the Astros through almost 8 innings in his last start. Yeah Hoch is the man here...I'd also love it even more if he was pitching in the 2nd game of that doubleheader on Sunday against the Twins at Target Field.

Blackley's last 2 starts have been pretty decent, no doubt about that...and any start against the woeful Ms in Safeco Field is a good bet. I'm not totally opposed to that choice either, but it wasn't an option that he presented. I'd still rather take a dominating Hochevar right now, at an equally enticing Target Field, over Blackley's start against the Ms though.

I like Bailey followed by Hochevar... I am not a fan of the rest of the matchups.. Brewer offense has been stagnant the past 7 days ranking 4th worst in the league.. Minny is 13th worst and Hochevar has picked up steam the past 2 outings... hope this helps
