Would give Plouffe and Salvador Perez for Adrian Gonzalez. Thoughts? Offered to me seems like a no brainer but Adrian has struggled
10 Team AL Only standard scoring non keeper
have (slumping) Carlos Santana @ C
Pena currently @ 1B - would be replaced by Adrian
can put Pennington in for Plouffe

a bit bias, but I'd take that trade. I think Adrian is going to start heating up and he should be around his career norm come September.

Honestly, I'd make that move. I just traded for Gonzalez and he's already produced for me in the three days that I've had him.

I think you have to make this trade. Let's out it this way, if somebody told you at the beginning of the year that they would trade you A-gon for Plouffe and Perez then you'd think they were crazy, lol. Of course you would have taken that in a heartbeat at that point in the season, so right now is no different. I will say that I own Plouffe and I really like his multi-position elgibility...and I thinks he's going to produce for the ROS. He's going to regress though and even though his power numbers will be good his AVG. will not. Perez also has hudge upside imo. Even though the Royals are carrying three catchers right now it seem like Yost will be triming that number and Perez is going to have the duty of being the evryday catcher for the Royals. His has a little bit of power but his real asset is hitting for a good AVG. He should be a fine fantasy option at catcher over the ROS. I'd go as far as to say that his numbers could rival those produced by your struggling Santana. After saying all that though you still take this trade. The potential quality that a 2nd half rebound from AGon could produce far outweighs what Plouffe and Perez could offer your team. Make the deal with confidence and hopefully AGon will come through will the numbers that we've been accustomed to seeing from him year after year.

You have to do it. It is a no brainer to me and I think AGon is heating up now and will continue to produce throughout the year.

Thanks for the help. I agree that this is a no-brainer. Plouffe is already starting to slow down. Pull the trigger, man.
