Andrus or Kung Fu Panda? WHIR

Postby acertijo » Mon Jun 25, 2012 1:10 pm

Hi all,

I have the opportunity to add either Sandoval or Andrus to my roster. Right now I have Hanley Ramirez at SS for me and Plouffe at 3B. HanRam is eligible at both 3B/SS, so I am able to slot him in either. It's a 12 team H2H league.

I can get either of those guys in exchange for the red hot Colby Rasmus. I'm not particularly strong in SBs, so I'm kind of tempted to snag Andrus and slot HanRam in at 3B. But Panda feels tempting just because if he gets right, he can deliver more stats across the board.

Who would you take? Leave a link and I'll help in return.

My Hitting Roster:
Avila, C
A Gonzalez, 1B
Pedroia, 2B
Plouffe, 3B
HanRam, SS
McCutchen, Pence, Bruce, Rasmus, OF
Goldschmidt, Prado, BN
Tulowitzki, DL

I'd say Andrus. You don't have any guys who are run producers like Andrus in that Texas lineup, and you're pretty weak in SB too. Andrus will help you with both.
Mauer, A-Gonz, Pedroia, Miggy, E. Cabrera, Beltran, Morse, Holliday, Beltre, Gomez, Rizzo, Lawrie, Hanley

Greinke, Johnson, Haren, Hellickson, Jackson, McCarthy, Miley, Anderson, Ryu, Miller, Garza, Street, Frieri, Boggs, Benoit

The good news is Panda doesn't have any mor hamate bones to break! Having said that, he will give you no steals and a low amount of runs hitting 6th for the Giants. HRam will probably outproduce him across the board as a 3B the rest of the season, so I'd target Andrus. Is Plouffe also available at SS so you'll have the same flexibility?

Good luck! Help me rank my SP's? viewtopic.php?t=449496
