Granderson/Teixeira for Miggy, or other option? *WHIR!*

8 team H2H 5x5 pretty shallow league for hitters, 2nd place, in the 2-4 range for about every category if it were roto.

FA available: Hosmer, Austin Jackson, Craig, Lind, Rizzo, Kelly Johnson, Michael Young, Moustakas, Middlebrooks, Rollins, Rios, Ichiro, Kubel, Pagan, Beckett, Bucholz, Ubaldo, Hughes

Trade possibilities:
#1 Granderson and Teixeira for Miguel Cabrera, this has been offered to me and I don't think he will budge for less.
#2 Teixeira and ___ for Kershaw (or straight for Cliff Lee, likes the upgrade at 1st)
#3 Granderson and ___ for Bautista (he uses him in the OF, but he's worth more to me at 3rd, will not accept Tex)

The first option has been offered to me, but I think I may be able to get a better deal out of trading the two separately in hypothetical but plausible deals to different owners that I list as #2 and #3, especially because I think I need a pitcher. I traded B-Phillips for Longoria the day before he had his setback and have been riding hot hands at 2nd and 3rd, which I don't mind because of the great options on waivers. This makes me really want to deal Tex, because one of Hosmer, Lind, Rizzo, or Howard will certainly match him ROS.

What would you offer owners #2 and #3? Would you pull the trigger on trade #1? Who would you add from waivers? Thanks!

Trade Tex for Cliff Lee. He is too good of a pitcher to remain winless for long and Tex isn't doing too much himself.

I advised someone in another thread not to go after Cliff Lee. He's lost his mental game IMO

I like Tex and SP for Kershaw. Like the Bautista but think you may be giving up too much

Trade #1 is not the best deal you could get. If would increase your average but give up home runs.
Trade #2 Try to do texeira and hammel for kershaw. I feel like texeira is a dud who will just strikeout a lot
Trade #3 Granderson and bautista will have about the same home runs and granderson will have more runs and rbi's

Do the 2nd trade as i suggested with hammel


otherwise thats a winning team you have, try to get miggy for a lesser price to fill 3B for you

Well, in the middle of me talking to him, guy #2 traded Lee to guy #3 for A-Rod and change.

Bautista is now off the table. There goes trade #3. So I will attempt to get Kershaw in #2 and then figure out an alternative for third base. Thanks so far guys.
