My Cliff Lee ($19) and Brendan Boesch ($4) for his James Shields ($6) and Hunter Pence ($14)

12 team points keeper league.
15 hitters, 10 pitchers.
1 point per TB, bb = 1, r = 1, rbi = 2, sb = 2, cs = -1
IP = 1, K = 1, W = 10, QS = 5, S = 5, BS = -5,L=-5,ER=-2,BB=-1
We start 1 at each position plus an EH. 6 pitchers, weeekly lineups

If I were you, I would accept this trace. Lee has been terribly unlucky this year in terms of wins, but he is obviously still better than Shields. However, the upgrade that you are getting going from Boesch to Pence is well worth the dropoff from Lee to Shields. It seems as though you're not that strong on SP, however I'd still take it.

I agree completely with the above poster, Boesch is terrible. The other 3 players can all be considered bargains.

Agreed. I think this is a deal I would make. Landing Pence makes losing Lee more palatable.

Thanks all .... the funny thing is that Pence-Boesch were part of a trade we made awhile back ... so, he is coming home to roost. Only thing is that Pence has been very inconsisent lately.

The trade was nearly placed, when he came up with an odd offer:

Lee, Carp and my final waiver for Lincecum ($21) and Pujols ($24)

Problem is that both of his players would be rentals, could not afford to keep them....

thoughts??? or stick with the original deal??
