I'm completely out of the race, in fact all 4 playoff spots are ahead of everyone by 15+ games so my trade partners are limited.

Two of the 4 teams in contention have already made trades dealing all of their keepers/prospects. Should I trade Upton for this now?

If you have absolutely no chance of competing and you've already shopped him around as much as possible, I'd take this before nothing.

It's not like MLB where you get compensation picks for letting a guy walk, if you can't compete, I'd say you have to get something for him.

That's a decent haul given Upton's lackluster stats and especially if your trade partners are limited. I'd make the deal. I'm not sure if any of the players you are getting back are surefire keeper options at this point, but you'd have the luxury of time to decide.
