Return to Draft, Trade, Keeper and Waivers Questions

Hello Everyone,
Somebody dropped Youk the day before the news broke of the trade. I have a number 3 waiver that I can use for him. There is a possibility of a revived Youk and a good second half of the season. Should I take the chance? If so, who would you drop from my roster? I was thinking about Valverde.
Thank you for all your help

First off - nice team.
I think Valverde, Beckett, Quintana, and Fister are your most droppable.
However, this is a gamble. I think Youk will have a monster second half to prove everyone wrong and will really like hitting in US Cellular. Pretty nice hitting around Dunn and Konerko too.
But this is just a hunch. Valverde is still technically the closer in Det when he comes back. I think your depth is SP. I am not sure about Beckett's injury, but his name makes him valuable for trades. Quintana is not owned YET in my 12 team league, but I think that may change soon. So, he is probably the safest to drop and then pick up if you ask me.

Thank you very much for your input and your compliment. I am kind of feeling what you are feeling about Youk, but not sure yet about taking the gamble. I have been thinking and at this point if I were to drop anyone it would be a relief pitcher. Will see I have until Tuesday night to decide.

I dont really think anyone else would want him, I would wait it out and if no one picks him up then get him. You already have a good 3B and 1B'
