Post Hosmer shift his BABIP is down along with power. The only tiny ray this season has been an increased on base.
He's 22. He already proved over a half season that he can succeed at the MLB level, and there's no reason IMO to think this is anything other than a sophomore slump that will be solved when he continues to learn to adjust to the adjustments made to him. The fact that you'd even consider dropping him in a keeper format for a kid who's got nice upside for above average production but absolutely stunk during a brief cup of coffee is kid of baffling to me though. There's gotta be a way to roster both without cutting Hosmer, I'd guarantee that if I saw your roster, but there's no way on Earth this is anything other than outlandish what-have-you-done-for-me-lately thinking otherwise. Not trying to troll here, just an total knee-jerk question IMO.
