Would you do this Blockbuster?(WHIR)

Postby kidsilk » Sat Jun 23, 2012 8:30 pm

16 team,24 man rosters, auction type with 310 dollar cap, keeper(can keep as many as you want per year with each player's salary goes up by 3 dollars each year), points league with pitching definitely favored a bit as you can stream. I am currently in 12th place and most likely won't make a run this year but have had an interesting offer sent my way. To preface the deal, I have Hosmer at only 2 dollars, 5 next year, etc and a great value. He is basically the reason I am not sure about this deal and especially with Cutch performing like he is. What do you guys think?

The deal:

His Ruiz(1), Frazier(1), Alonso(2), CarGo(43), Butler(22) FOR My McCutchen(34), Hosmer(2), Asdrubal(11), Ramos(13),Tomlin(5), Motte(4).

The problem is that CarGo is so expensive and we have to be equal on the salaries when making a deal.

My Team:

Miggy(55)
McCutchen(34)
Kinsler(31)
Posey(25)
Pence(21)
Kendrick(19)
Asdrubal(11)
Hart(14)
Ramos(13)
Maybin(5)
Drew(2)
Escobar(1)

Motte(4)
Lowe(4)
Burnett(4)
Volquez(10)
Hanranhan(10)
Cobb(1)
Jansen(5)
League(6)
Saunders(6)
Tomlin(5)
Wolf(8)
Norris(6)

I think I would rather have McCutchen and Hosmer than Cargo and Butler...I do like that you would be getting Alonso, but think you can swing that some other way...i would def stay put

Interesting trade. I think a lot depends on what you think about Hosmer, Ramos, and Motte. Young talents you have at a cheap price.

I would grit my teeth and pass. You're playing for next year, not this year. If you had a chance this year, then I would take it.

Please help on mine.
