AL

C Mauer

1B Konerko

2B Cano

SS Asdrubal Cabrera

3B Beltre

OF Hamilton, Trout (write-in), Bautista

DH Ortiz

I think the only argument here might be trout in the OF v Granderson. Beltre is a much better fielder than Cabrera, hence I chose him at 3B.

NL

C Ruiz

1B Votto

2B Hill

SS Lowrie

3B Wright

OF Braun, McCutcheon, Beltran

I see the argument for Gonzalez over Beltran; I'm penalizing Gonzalez here for playing in Coors. THe MI in the NL are really really weak...

You know what... the more I think about it. Trumbo really should get a long look in the AL outfield as well.

And how can more people not have Kipnis in at 2B. Dude's on pace for about a 25/40 season while hitting .280.... And some people are voting Kinsler?? Get real.

I don't really understand how you can make an argument for Kipnis over Cano. This isn't the fantasy all stars and those 40 SB's don't count for much. I'll take the 100 pts of slugging any day.

I also don't understand why it's ridiculous to vote for Kinsler. He's having a better season due to ballpark factors but people don't need to get real imo.
Kipnis .280/.334/.441/.775
Kinsler .272/.335/.437/.772

Do you want to compare the level of talent surrounding those guys in the lineup?

Kipnis is leading the Indians in Runs, Hits, HR, RBI, and SBs.

That does not matter. Cano is just flat out better and Kinsler is in the same league as Kipnis (although behind for 2012).

I think it does matter. The Indians have no business even competing for the division. Kipnis has been the catalyst for that team offensively all year.

Of course I think Cano is the better player overall, and the last couple of weeks he's really turned it on.

I just think Kipnis has done more for his team so far this year.
