I'm still sitting here on the edge of my seat patiently awaiting the return of my All-Star OF and backbone of my team Matt Kemp. According to recent news it looks like he'll be back sometime around the All-Star break and I can't wait. Just like I do every year I'm starting to look at guys that are still on the DL that have been dropped, but could offer some real value and help for my team in the 2nd half. I already have Berkman stashed away for that purpose. Once Kemp returns I'm wondering if I should use his DL slot to add Crawford or Chis Carpenter (STL). My team definitely needs some offensive help, but you can always use a good SP and even though Carpenter pitched a hell of alot of innings in the 2011 World Series run I still belive that he has some good games left in the tank. With my pitching staff the way it is right now a rebounding productive Crawford would be the best add imo. But there is obviously no guarantees with him and he's never really done anythig in a Red Sox uniform, so should I think any diferently now. At the same time if Carpenter can pitch at his normal level I have to think that he could easily replace Nova on my staff. So what do you guys think? Stash Crawford or Carpenter? and why? Thanks in advance for you help and as always leave me your links so I can help you as well.
