iam in a 12 team league. The trade is

Team A who is 1-9 traded RA Dickey to team B who is 6-4 for Mike Morse,Gavin Floyd and Chen (SP from BAL)

people are complaing cause they think its lopsided trade where the guy getting Dickey is getting the better and they are saying that the team is dumping. Now the 1-9 is not mathematically out of it. So this trade should go through right?

No issue with this, for every person believing in what Dickey is doing there's another person who thinks it will end (and/or another person who thinks he will end up somehwere in the middle).

Probably could get more for Dickey with the right owner who believes but in his ind he could be selling "high" for a three roster filling chips to help get some more points, wins, etc. Chen's been decent, Floyd's been terrible but SHOULD be better/solid, Morse has upside etc

If the same trade happened a few weeks ago people would be upset Team A was getting so much for Dickey

I have no problem with this trade. It's a classic example of spreading your risk out and getting more contributors for a star-level performer IMO

Chen and floyd are junk,,id be surprised if there wasnt something better on WW. Its really dickey for Morse. Even with it just dickey for Morse i dont see a problem. Morse just came back so finding his power might take awhile but its there.

Dickey's worth more than Morse (and I say this as a Morse fan), but I agree they're not orders of magnitude apart. I also agree that Floyd and Chen are WW fodder in that league, but if someone wants Morse let him trade for him.
