I'm thinking no. Any reason I should change my mind?

no, if you're unsure at all, sit out your pitcher their first outing

what # starter is he on your team? persoannly though, I would bench him becauase he is going up against Pedro and the Boston offense.

I'd vote 'no' on that, from a fantasy perspective. Even w/o Nomar, they should be good for a bad outing.

Last year though, I benched Brett Myers vs. Boston and missed a shutout...it's a crapshoot. The odds would have to be on Boston to knock in some runs though...

I say bench him, if he wins it's a fluke cause Boston is really good at home and he's up against Pedro.

I have the same situation and I think I will start him! It's a Roto league! Since everyone is benching him maybe I'll start him :-b

I'd start Ponson. Without Nomar, Boston's offense isn't nearly as dangerous and by the way, the game is in Baltimore, not Boston.
