SP-Tim Lincecum SP-Cole Hamels RP-Aroldis Chapman RP-Huston Street P-Scott Downs P-Brett Myers P-C.J. Wilson Bench-Wade Miley Bench-James McDonald Bench-Daniel Hudson DL-Brandon Beachy
I just got done doing a mega deal trade (I feel like I got the better of it, you tell me) of Hanley Ramirez and Jose Bautista for Chris Sale, Santiago Castilla, JJ Hardy, and Adrian Beltre.
I was out of town with limited internet access and did not realize that scott downs had lost the closer role out in LA. I am going to drop him for Marmol. Some SP's avaialable are: Ryan Dempster, Ryan Vogelsong, Matt Moore, Yavonni Gallardo (just dropped a few minutes ago), Mat Latos, Colby Lewis, Andy Petite, Shaun Marcum, MAx Scherzer.
Miley should be the first drop and I would probably use his spot to just stream pitchers. With that much talent on the WW just play the matchups instead of trying to pick just one.
With that much talent on WW maybe I drop Linc because he might not get picked up. Personally I would probably hold off until the all-star break and then think about it again.

Thanks for the help. I should have said that Miley was on my roster purely as a stream pitcher for tonight since he has a favorable matchup. My thought is to use that spot to stream a sp and use my open roster spot on one of the more established vets out there, or maybe stream both.
Yes. Totally cut him Lincecum, and here's why I think why. His 5IP, 5ER (2HR) stinker against Seattle was the final straw in my opinion. His barely-over-2.00 K/BB ratio is awful, especially for him. And c'mon, your league's free agent SPs are good! If Tim turns things around, your options will perform well enough so that you're not losing much at all. I mean, Tim's the gamble at this point. After 15 or so starts, Ryan Vogelsong and Colby Lewis have proved themselves this season. Why wait for the All-Star break? So that you can get another lousy start or two out of Tim? He's just a pitcher, there's no need to play it this safe. I vote to take action now.
