Trade Cargo+Victorino for Stanton/Upton? WHIR!!!

Hey guys, I'm in my first fantasy baseball season and I'm sitting in 2nd at 8-2. But, my good friend is in 1st at 9-1, and his team is stacked, so I'm going to need to continue to make moves if I'm going to beat him. I've been fortunate, as I've picked up Mark Trumbo, RA Dickey, and Allen Craig from free agency, and I also traded for Jared Weaver, Tulo, and Strasburg. It's a 10-team H2H Points league. I've been offered Giancarlo Stanton AND Justin Upton for Cargo/Victorino and I'm highly debating doing it.

Here's my current roster:

1st: allen craig
2nd: dan uggla
3rd: adrian beltre
SS: troy tulowitzki
OF: mark trumbo
OF: carlos gonzalez
OF: matt kemp
UTIL: shane victorino/Desmond Jennings (victorino for now, hoping desmond will explode)

bench: whoevers not starting between victorino/jennings, marc scutaro

Pitching:

SP: Stephen Starsburg
SP: Chris Capuano
SP: Colby Lewis
SP: Edwin Jackson
SP: Hiroki Kuroda
SP: Matt Garza
RP: Kenley Jansen
RP: Fernando Rodney
RP: Tyler Clippard
RP: Jonathon Broxton
RP: Matt Capps

Obviously tulo/kemp are injured, so I have Marc Scutaro at SS and Victorino + Jennings starting in OF, but lets talk like they are starting, as they will be back relatively soon. What I'm thinking is I should pull the trigger. Obviously Cargo is having a MONSTER season. But, Stanton isn't too far behind, and if anything I think Cargo might regress slightly and Stanton will pick up again. I also have faith in Upton, i DO think he will pick up soon, and Victorino isn't really special. What I'm thinking is maybe not this month, but by the time playoffs roll around, I'll be happy with the combo of Upton/Stanton over Cargo/Victorino.. what do you think??

I would absolutely take Stanton and Upton for Carlos Gonzalez and Shane Victorino. If Upton begins hitting at anywhere near his capabilty, you come out ahead in the deal.

Agreed. IF Upton can figure things out, and most of his peripheral stats say he will, you will win that trade in a cake walk.
