ok, I hear you on that and I understand/respect you belief and pride in your team. Let me say this though, you can never let your love/fandom for a team get in the way of making good sound fantasy decisions. I know it's hard and I've been guilty of doing it myself, but somebody reminded me of that fact this year and they were SOOOOOOO right. Somebody had offered me Price, Jesus Montero, and Fowler for my Wieters and Hellickson. I actually sat there and typed a post in here about if I shoudl take that trade or not, lol. I mean that trade is a no-brainer all the way, an opportunity to grab somebody great like Price and dump the ticking time bomb of Hellickson, taking a slight downgrade if any by going from Wieters to Montero, and gettng Fowler as a cherry on top??? I mean I would be crazy not to make that deal as soon as it was proposed to me. Ahhhh, but I'm an O's fan and believed that this would be Wieters best season, and his best was yet to come. Well I took the deal, cuz it was the best thing for my team...and I've been reaping the immense benefit from that ever since...taking hudge strides up the leader board because of it...and on top of that Montero has outperformed Wieters since I made the deal. So keep that in mind my friend...I was almost blinded by the same thing you are talking about. I'll definitely be watching Hanson to see if I'm right, hopefully ur right and I'm wrong and I won't have to say I told ya so in a few months.

I'd rather have Hanson than Berkman anyway ... let's be honest, he was great last year but that was lightning in a bottle considering health/age. I'd drop Berkman in this case and hang onto Pineda.

So do you think I should just drop Berkman now and add a SP? Or should I wait it out and see what happens with Beachy? Then re-evaluate.
If you don't like the Hanson advice then I'd go with dropping Berkman and streaming until we know whats gonna happen with Beachy. Chances are Berkman may still be out there by that point, and then you could always add him once the Beachy situation plays out. You never know what could happen with Beachy ya know

What if I could trade Victorino for a 7th round pick and then just have a spot to stream a pitcher for a couple of weeks? Then when Berkman comes back from the DL in July I can just move Beachy into my DL spot.
