In a 12 team H2H league. I am about to be 10-1. Just had Beachy go down. I don't want to mess with success but I think this helps me greatly. I get Verlander in the deal. This is how my team would look below.
C - Ellis
1B - Votto
2B - Zobrist
SS - Castro
3B - Beltre
OF - Hart
OF - Jennings
OF - Fowler
U - Choo
U - Saunders
DL - Kemp
RP - Perez
RP - Kimbrel
SP - Marcum
SP - Lynn
SP - Josh Johnson
SP - Matt Moore
SP - Verlander
SP - Beachy (DL)
SP - Capuano

This is tough. In terms of value it's kinda fair, though I feel like you're overpaying a bit. My reservation with it is that McCutchen has been an absolute beast and losing him will greatly hurt your offense. You'd rely very heavily on fairly unproven bats in Saunders and Fowler, who could easily end up being droppable let alone unlikely to fill McCutch's shoes. Verlander is obviously a stud, and you really need one for that staff (especially since Beachy could well end up missing months), but it's not as if Kuroda is a slouch.
I'd hold, but continue to look aggressively for a pitcher that wouldn't cost McCutch... maybe get someone to pay for an Upton bounceback?

Personally, I would rather have McCutchen and Kuroda. But it is a pretty fair trade.
I just value hitters more then pitchers in H2H leagues.
help with mine please:

For the time being I've replaced Beachy with Cahill. Hopefully he'll only be out a short time.

By that do you mean you put Beachy on the DL and picked up Cahill? Because that would be a very good move imo. I'm a huge fan of Cahill and I think he has a lot of potential/upside for the ROS.
If you dropped Beachy for Cahill, then you just made a big mistake.

Keep Cutch and Kuroda. Like one poster said Cutch is breaking out this year and Kuroda is no slouch(he will at least give you wins). You are overpaying for Verlander I believe. Look to get an arm that won't cost you McCutchen.

Put Beachy on DL. Haven't lost all my marbles yet. Activated Kemp to give me hope that he'll be back soon.
