I like the deal in terms of value a lot. Zimm maybe has a slight edge over Garza, but Victorino is light years better than Hunter. Based on this, I'd make the deal. That said, where do you play Victorino? You have a pretty good bench so maybe you can spin this deal into something a little more interesting and do a classic 2-for-1 deal that nets you the superior player.
I don't know why you'd swap a SP and OF unless you were getting a player you really wanted and/or the value was on your side. So I don't see why you'd make this trade as it seems relatively even to me.

Completely agree.
This is a very even trade, with the way Hunter has been playing so far this season. If you think this is just a hot streak for Hunter and you are trying to sell high on him, then I guess the move makes sense. Because you would most likely be buying low on Victorino. He should be batting .300, not .250.
Zimmerman and Garza are pretty much a wash imo, BUT if Garza gets traded at the deadline and goes to a contender. He could be in for a huge 2nd half.
So you could end up winning in the end, and you are taking relatively little risk. So I guess I just talked myself into saying you should accept the trade lol. You are just taking a slight risk.
Even though it is close, I would do it. I like the 2 players you are getting better than the 2 you are giving. As mentioned, Garza could be pitching for a contender soon.
