TRADE HELP: Mauer & Ian Kndy for J.P. Arencibia & C.C.

Postby TheMoneyballers » Sat Jun 16, 2012 8:46 pm

Hey everyone, please help me out with this trade. I am in 12 team league where pitching is a premium. I recently acquired Ian Kennedy and Mike Moustakas in a trade for Tim Lincecum and Michael Young. Now I am getting an offer that looks like this:

NJ Guidos (Players to trade)
J.P. Arencibia
CC Sabathia

ME: The Moneyballers (Players to Trade)
Joe Mauer
Ian Kennedy

Joe Mauer C
Albert Pujols 1B
Allen Craig 2B
Mike Moustakas 3B
Mike Aviles SS
Josh Reddick OF
Andrew McCutchen OF
David Ortiz UTIL
Carlos Quentin OF
Alejandro De Aza OF
Emilio Bonifacio SS (DL)

Pitching
Jake Peavy SP
Jason Hammel SP
Kevin Millwood SP
Fernando Rodney RP
Craig Kimbrel RP
Tommy Hanson SP
James McDonald SP
Jason Vargas SP
Lance Lynn SP
Edwin Jackson SP
Garrett Richards SP
Ian Kennedy SP

My hitting isn't as strong as my pitching but I will most likely dominate pitching every week with the addition of CC. I might be able to counter offer him with Hammel or Edwin Jackson but Idk if he'll go for Hammel and Jackson is dominant this year. What do you guys think of this trade? Any other suggestions? Thanks for your help, I'll be sure to return the favor.

I don't normally like giving up hitting for pitching... Mauer will never be the stud he was that one year in 2008, but he is still a very very good hitter.. C.C. is good and gets w's on a great team.. Ian Kennedy may have something to prove the 2nd half, I very well may do this one if you don't feel comfortable with your pitching staff.. If you think all you need is a spot starter, you can get that on the waiver wire easy!!

Help with mine?? viewtopic.php?t=449023
