Time To Part Ways With Jose Valverde? Ryan Cook?

Postby mrje1 » Sat Jun 16, 2012 1:06 am

Hello Everyone,

Should I part ways with Jose Valverde? He hasn't been that great all year and has imploded the past few starts. Ryan Cook is on the FA, should I drop Valverde for him or should I keep him? Will Valverde turn it around second half of season?

Thank you all for your help.

If you part ways with Valverde then you do it by trade not just dropping him. Cook isn't set in stone as a solid keeper so no reason to drop Valverde for him.

Thank you very much for your response. I actually just did the move late last night. I dropped Oswalt for Cook and did not drop Valverde. The great thing Cook got a save for me. So far so good.

Have a nice season.
