OK, how good is this kid Arroyo?
Is he just another fifth starter or is he worth picking up until Rich Harden gets back in my lineup?
Arroyo is supposed to pitch the Sox home opener against the Blue Jays.

this kid is reasonably good even though he has never proven himself in the major leagues. hes only gonna be in the starting rotation until Kim's return. he doest throw anything fast and scary but does have a pretty nice curve. he can be really good in small stretches but tends to get tired in the mid innings. thats why people say that hes more suitable to come out of the pen (which is what he'll do after Kim returns). u should SERIOUSLY consider him if ure in an AL- only or deep league. yeah i think he can fill in as Harden's replacement for right now but watch out for him to REALLY do well once Kim returns and hes moved to the pen. just my .02

Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.

he has great stuuf (he pitched a perfect game in AAA last fall) and was unhitable in except for one outing, Kim could be out until June so until then Arroyo is the guy. He has a good run support and a great bullpen so getting wins shouldn't be a problem.

The Glory Days.
