Bryan LaHair is in right field tonight for the first time this season, with Steve Clevenger manning first base. Get ready. The transition has begun. We might very well see Rizzo in Chicago before lineups set next week.

I disagree its only cause they are in interleague, it allows them to get another bat in the lineup
no DH still only 4 spots for Lahair, Soriano, Dejesus and Campana, Baker/Mather/Johnson platoons.
Unless Soriano or Dejesus or Lahair get traded, Rizzo is likely to remain in AAA

Wanna bet?
why would I want to bet, Im just pointing out the other side of the coin. If they were in any hurry to bring him up, they would have brought him up to DH
also I have Rizzo on my bench just in case, but I really see no rush, hes battling injuries as well

Rizzo's not battling injuries. He's fine -- hit his 23rd homer yesterday. And the service clock is the reason he wasn't brought up to DH.
I'm normally the to type to wait until after the first week when prospects are called up to plug them into my weekly lineup. However, the last couple times I've done that I've missed out on a big 1st week. As soon as Rizzo is up, he's being penciled into my UTIL spot.

Agreed. I've been holding for the past 3 weeks or so, fighting the urge to drop.
Interesting timing. I was offered Rizzo and Joyce for my Michael Bourn. I just have never liked banking on a prospect. Much more of a "Wait and see" kind of guy. Of course, that may be to a fault sometimes, but we'll see
Beautiful, Beautiful Family Guy
Lois: You're drunk again.
Peter: No, I'm just exhausted 'cause I've been up all night drinking.

I think most likely because they're waiting for the super two date to pass. Why bring him up to DH for 3-4 days when they can just wait 2-3 more weeks and keep him under control an extra year.
I'm not really all that excited about what he can do this year, but I do think Lahair seeing some OF time is a sign that it's coming.
Because Rizzo was on the roster 68 days last season delaying for super 2 is impossible. this is however within weeks of delaying his FA for one year. I hate these games but it doesn't make sense for the cubs to bring him up. He's not going to be a better player because he saw an extra month of MLB pitching while surrounded in an awful lineup.
