In Widger and Delgado, the Mets got a couple of dead bodies. So they met their goal.

Also, the only thing funnier than a team depending on Cedeno -- is a team depending on Ray Lankford to be a starting left fielder.

As sad as it sounds, Cedeno could be an upgrade. Now, that's not saying much. But at least Cedeno isn't 36 -- and was in the major leagues last year -- unlike Lankford, who was retired.

I agree, he's an upgrade over Lankford.

But you're wrong in saying Cedeno was in the big leagues last year.
