I was asked to trade Bumgartner for Pujols, I think that is too much to give up especially since I have Weaver on the DL. What do you think a counter offer of Ian Kennedy?

Bumgarner for Pujols is too much? I'd trade just about any pitcher in the league for Albert. He may not be what he once was, but he's still one of the top sluggers in the league. Oh ... and you have Michael Cuddyer playing 1st base. You'd be a fool to decline.
I would make that trade anytime, Puljos has been heating up recently and there is nothing to suggest that he wont keep it up. You can always play using pitching matchups, but getting a hitter like pujols is a great deal in my opinion.
You didn't really give any information about your league scoring or how deep the league is. That being said, unless there are some extreme circumstances here (like a 20 team points league or something), you make this deal EVERY day of the week. As was posted above, trading pitching for hitting is one of the best ways to pick up value in fantasy. Frankly, there is no reason to be reluctant to give up starting pitching as there are surely a million starting pitchers on the waiver wire and you can stream for matchups.
I would trade Madison Bumgarner straight up for someone like Matt Holliday, Adrian Beltre, etc. in a 5x5 10 team league, let alone Albert Pujols.

Thanks for the feedback, should be a done deal.
I see you are a Kershaw fan, would you trade Kersh for Pujols as well?
